With Jade

As I had said before, this new year will come with new developments and much more to share with each one of
you. One of those things that I will be sharing with you is the love I have for my cousin Jade. If you know me you should already know who she is (since I always put pictures of her everywhere). But if you do not know her or do not know how the love I have for her arose, here is the story .

I have two aunts from my mother’s side. One of them is Maika and other Hanoi. When I came to live in the United States I began to live with my aunt Hanoi. My aunt had 2 children and she didn’t want to have more children, but to her surprise in 2010 she discovered that she was pregnant . When I discovered this I was more than surprised. We did not expect to have more members in our family . Since my aunt was pregnant I always took care of her, went with her to her appointments, and was there every time she thought she going to have the baby. Five months passed and it was already time to know if the baby will be girl or boy. But for a long time I was certain it was going to be a girl. We already had in mind to pick Jade for a name because for us she would be a beautiful stone that would come into our lives.
When Jade was born
Nine months passed and Jade’s birth was approaching. I wanted to be there with my aunt, but I did not have the strength to do that. I had never been in a delivery room, and it would be my first time. I do not know where I got the strength from. I was waiting for little Jade. I remember like it was yesterday when I saw her hair and beautiful eyes. It was love at first sight. Since then, I adopted her as my daughter. Just by being there I witnessed how great it is to give birth to a beautiful creature as Jade. My aunt did not put the name Jade (which was bad right?) because she wanted to continue with her tradition. Since each one of her children has names with the initials H, she did not want Jade's name to change that. So Jade's real name is Hailey Marie Hernandez. But at home we never mention the name "Hailey" and nobody knows her by that name.

With Jade

Now Jade is 2 years old and on May 9th she will be 3 years old. As the years have passed, my love for Jade has grown more and more (and she loves me too). I like to share with others the moments I spend with her. I already have several videos on YouTube of her and me. If you would like to see them you just have to find me on YouTube obr.tracey or Treicy Hernandez. But now I will be sharing a video every week so you can get to know more about Jade and see how smart she is.

You see how lovely she is!!

Let's start with the first video:
This video was recorded after returning from a mini vacation that I had for 3 days. When I returned to the house, I had a great desire to see Jade, to hug her and to tell her how much I had missed her. But to my surprise Jade told me that she didn’t miss me. Can you believe it?! But then it just seemed that she was only playing with me and told me that she did miss me. The video is in Spanglish because Jade has mixed the two languages. Sometimes she will speak some English and then end with Spanish. I hope you like the video.
